Our campaign reception at McGinty's Silver Spring for Alan Bowser for Clerk of the Court was a great success. With friends and supporters from across Montgomery County, we welcomed Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett and his endorsement of the Alan Bowser for Clerk of the Court campaign. Many people contributed to the success of the event in McGinty's Public House, but special note must be given to our good friends, Leslie Hansely, Carolyn Michell, Rachael Evans, Eric Hensal, our campaign treasurer, Jeff Jackson and our campaign chair, Dr. Charlotte Coffield.
We were joined by many candidates for election in the upcoming Montgomery County primary: Brenda Ward for Montgomery County Board of Education, Lynn Amano for Montgomery County Board of Education, Justin Chappell for Montgomery County Democratic Central Committee, Marylin Pierre for Judge of the Montgomery County Circuit Court, Takoma Park Council Member Jarrett Smith, a candidate for Montgomery County Council At-Large, Chevy Chase Council Member Joel Rubin, a candidate for Maryland State Delegate in District 18, Anis Ahmed, candidate for Maryland State Delegate in District 15, and Hoan Dang, a candidate for Montgomery County Council At-Large.
Also attending were Mark Woodard, Chair of the Greater Silver Spring Democratic Club, Luke Jones, Chair of the District 20 Democratic Caucus, Paul Mink, President of the Friends of the Margaret Schweinhaut Senior Center, and Anita Neal Powell, President/CEO of the Lincoln Park Historical Foundation.
